Altered Allsorts Bottle

Hi there x

I'm back in with a short post - my altered bottle swap hosted by Zuzu - go check out Zuzu's fabulous page and amazing art and maybe join us all in the swapping fun over at Zuzus-Petals-Altered-Art-n-Stuff

Anyway I was saying my altered bottle swap has arrived at its new home, so I can share some piccys with you all now  x

Here's a before Piccy of the bottle I altered - I bought it from Sainsburys x

(I'm calling it 'allsorts'  cos I've used a allsorts of different and amazing stash......)

So - I'll start with the shabby-chic blooms - Sizzix tattered-flower-garland by Tim Holtz, I just can't get enough of the tattered florals x

And oh joys
I've found a new love - tis the embossing paste - crackle (big yummy crackles!!!) by Wendy Vecchi

Now the paints I've 'sprayed' on the bottle are the fabulous new paints 'English Cottage Artists Acrylic paint' from IndigoBlu - just mix the paints with a little water in these bottles press here - and your good to go!...really they are that easy to use x

And I also raided my trinket odds 'n' ends box for a little bit of this and a little bit of that to add extra texture and interest x

I'm off for now - the Gesso is calling my name....another coat is required on my latest project.....
thanks for stopping by.......

Kassa xoxo

  4. You're my kinda gal mixing up the media in this way. The crackle paste looks perfect with the EC paint sprayed over and of course your flowers are always out of this world. You are one clever lady Karen. Jenny x
