I have loved your art from afar for awhile now and would love any of your pieces. It's so hard to pick one! If I had to choose I would choose the one with the woman's face on it. I loved your review of the paints as you used simple terms to describe all of them. Now my shopping list has gotten bigger as I need to expand my finnabair paint collection! :)

Amazing reviews and tips on how to use the paints Kas, really helpful. You're work and talent is outstanding and I just love the colours you use. Xoxo

Hi Kassa, loved the info on all the different paints! Now I know how to use them! Hehe
I really like the "daisy" art!

Such a great review Kassa, you are a wonderful enabler! I cannot imagine anyone NOT wanting to have a piece of your art!! All of your pieces are gorgeous... Hugs, Anne xx

Finnabair CT Paint Review & Giveaway

Hi lovely friends
tis an exciting post today eeeep!

Recently, I was asked by Prima to create a little art for them using Finnabair's amaZing Art Alchemy paint range, and I couldn't think of a better way to share my creations with you all than a GIVEAWAY of the 4 pieces of art I created alongside a review of the Art Alchemy paints.

Firstly I'm going to link you over to Finnabair's blog for my review on her Art Alchemy paint systems (including the new Impasto Paints)  Amongst other things, I will tell you in which order I use the paint systems when using them all on the one same piece of art and I'll tell you why too.  I will tell you the differences between the paints and why I loVe the differences, I throw a few tips in too.  Anyways grab a cuppa and hop over PRESS HERE for Finnabair's blog (my Review post will be up and running over there sometime Friday)

Once you've read through my review over on Finnabair's blog, whilst you are there please feel free to stop by in their comments section to ask any questions about the paints, I will be happy and will do my best to answer any questions you may have or if you have a favorite Art Alchemy paint system I'd love to know and why its your fav or simply leave me some love, then follow the link back over here and if you'd like to be in with a chance to win one of my 4 pieces of art featured in the posts today please leave me a comment on MY blog, letting me know which piece of my 4 artworks you'd love to WIN

On Fiday 14th July, a weeks time I will post over here on my blog the 4 winners who will be picked randomly - so remember to check back in to see if it's your lucky day...then you can email me your details...

Stampotique & Eileen Hull Collaboration...

Morning lovelies
I've thought I'd share this lovely little Stampotique Designers Challenge piece I created....
For the whole of this month we over here at Stampotique have been collaborating with Eileen Hull's Heartfelt Designs and WoW look at this LUSH Heartfelt Journal tis so easy to assemble and is very sturdy too so you can add loads of leaves to journal on eeeeee!  So mine is nowhere near finished, I have loosely popped it together so as I finish a page I can simply deconstruct and pop in a page....

So the stamps I used...
The words... What? Never Seen A Diva Before? by Carols Collection
The Background... French Journal page by France Papillon
                               Design Cube by France Papillon
                               Colour Wheel by Kate Crane

The Characters... Hazelheart by Linda Peterson
Olive The Ostrich by Karen Hayselden
Dora Doodle Dolly by Karen Hayselden
Maude Doodle Dolly by Karen Hayselden
Florrie Doodle Dolly by Karen Hayselden

The pretty stencil is Doily 2

I used a combo of Faber castell Polychromos & Caran d'Ache Pablo colouring pencils for the girlies, a few journal pens and crayons to scribble around the edges :-)))

Right, I'm off to write up a review next (shhhhh don't let on but I will be back in at the weekend with a blog-hop and then next week with a give-away...4 pieces of my art! eeeeep! exciting times, busy times heeheehee)

take care lovelies xoxo (don't forget to join in the Stampotique Designers Challenge, a different theme every fortnight and there's always a $30 coupon at the end of the month to spendo in the Stampotique web shop.  You can upload your creations via the blog, just scroll down the various challenges for the month and enter what takes your fancy, and you will find the challenge link upload there too - press here for the Blog OR you can hop over to the facebook group and upload there too - press here for Facebook
