Hi there lovely friends xoxo
Here's a quickie post of a Christmas Wreath I've just finished.
Paints used on the holly are the fabulous DecoArt Americana chalkboard paint, they dry leaving a lush matte dusty effect.
I used Tim Holtz Poinsettia Bigz die and Movers and Shapers die.
Sanded the die cuts over the top of a piece of cardboard packaging - gives an undulated sanded pattern.
Dylusions White Linen spray is amazing for lightly dusting/spraying over your built up Poinsettias - gives a snow kissed appearance. For sparkle add the Glamour dust - I sealed the glamour dust with Mod Podge Clear Acrylic sealer, this sealer does as it says - stops matte, thus the shabby dusty look remains x
The bells ate touched up with a touch of 'classic' Treasure Gold and Treasure Pewter, I also dust this over the Poinsettias using a large and firm bristled paint brush.
The diameter of the wreath is 12"
Lengths of Calico (approx 1.5" by 7") ate knotted onto the wire.
Cover the hanging loop too.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend, thanks for popping by.....
Hugs
Kassa xoxo
