Bohemian Picture Card - Little Darlings.

This is a little post I'm putting together on my iPhone whilst sat in my car - so I will have to pop back in laters and add my links in xxx
I love creating picture cards and couldn't help myself but call this creation little darlings - the picture says it all.
The soft neutral colours of the gorgeous Boho papers combined with the luxury ribbon packs-packed full to the brim with luscious lace, velvet and seam binding were simply perfect to adorn my card with. It helps gives my black and white picture that is sat snugly on the card a very Victorian, vintage oldie feel.
The mini beautiful boho flower sits on a layer of the lush lace that is adhered to a base bloom (self created) that I have given a tutorial on over on the Craftwork Cards Privilege Club - (concertina cards - the wreath card)
On the spine of the card you can see I have adhered plenty of the delicate lace in tiny concertinaed pleats. I adhered the lace to an image of lace taken from one of the Bohemian papers which I lovingly but painstakingly!!! Cut round - but the end result is oh so worth it and gives me so much pleasure when I sit back and see the end results. The card takes an absolute age for me to create when I go to these lengths. There are always short cuts though but invariably I love to take the long route.
I have used a small circular punch to punch out the word 'darlings' from the Bohemian paper. And cut out from self typed letters the little letters that spell out 'darlings' which I lightly ink. Just for a different look I chose to keep the word 'little' as one word (again lightly inked). All of this is adhered to a Bohemian tag once I'm happy with how it all sits. The seam binding ribbon is tied in a bow, damped with water scrunched up into a ball and left to dry. Adhere to your tag once it if fully dry.
The acetate angel wings are from a Doo Hickey Magnolia die I use sooo much and love to bits. Again I have adorned these with the yummy lace and self typed letters/words. I have adhered the word 'angel' to one of the 'very used by me as they are soooo niffty' tickets - these are Bohemian tickets too!!! (I feel that all these elements collectively have added a rather cute touch!!!) You can just see one of the mini Vintage Piccys that I have distressed peeping out from the angel wings too. The bottom corner of the black and white picture also has a distressed vintage mini Piccy tucked in behind a rather lush laced corner - again a little bit of eye-candy for extra interest xxx
So now for the best bits - Piccys - YeY!!!
I'll be back in to add links when I get my mots on my beloved laptop xxx
