Carving Time! Halloween Fun! Mix-ology!

Mixology dt art.....

Yikes tis that time of the year again o ohhhhh how i loooooves Halloween - I adore decorating the house with fun but spookylicious gear, cobwebs in the windows and dangly big black spiders heeheehee!

I so enjoyed creating this fun, colourful Halloween art, I wanted it to be a little kooky and well not a 'typical' Halloween look (well not typical in my imagination anyways) I just felt the need, the urge to go with as many of the amazing and bright colurs associated with Halloween all in the one piece!

My dt piece for Roc Nicholas's blog seemed the perfect place to create what I had a brewing in my imagination - I hope you like what i did with Roc's Screaming Bunny, the Szzix dies and the Ranger Ink paints and inks!
The bunny is coloured with my usual Faber Castell and Caran d'Ache Pablo colouring pencils, the Various Sizzix dies add the dimension, the Ranger Ink/Tim Holtz Stickles Dry Rock Candy mixed with the Tim Holtz Distress re-inkers add texture (along with the cotton sewn with my old old workhorse Singer sewing machine and some lush pure silk ribbons) And the amazing vivid colours I added in layers onto cardstock, watercolor paper and dry wax deli paper come from the Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Dyan Reaveley Dylusions Acrylic Paints and Dina Wakley Media Paints - Mixology!
But I needed a little finishing touch!  I added a few little dots of glitter and colour here and there using Ranger Liquid Pearls and Ranger Stickles, Tim Holtz's new Idea-Ology Small Talk Occasions sticker words have fabby Halloween quotes, I couldn't resist 'Carving Time' perfect for 'Screaming Bunny' and his humongous mouth!!!

Happy Halloween for the 31st eeeeeeeek!
