Clarity January TV Samples

Hi there lovely friends x

Well tis tea-time and I've managed to drag myself out of bed :-((( 

I'm full of the bloomin flu yet again - 3rd time this year, and only just got rid of the last bout a couple of weeks before Christmas (boohoo lol)

Anyways, I'm up and about and ready to blog the creations that were aired on TV earlier today on the monthly Claritystamp show with the fabulous Barbara Gray over on Create and Craft,  I was sooo busy creating these little lovelies over the Christmas holiday period (confession time) - lol we didn't even get decorations up in our house cos I was sooo busy creating - infact I didn't get round to sending out our Christmas cards either - tut tut tut - but in my defence I didn't stop creating till Monday the 29th of December and there were the USA pieces I lovingly created too (you can see them soon, I'll ask when you can see peeps of them)

So on to my first piece - 'BIG Blousy Daisies'......

 .....in chalky lilac hues that I had a ball creating and believe me they were easy peasy to create.

To peep at the stamps I used over in the Clarity shop

For the petals

PRESS HERE - Butterfly and Petals stamps 

Plus for the centre of these blousy daisies I used the beautiful and delicate large floral circle  

PRESS HERE - Floral Figures stamps 

And I used a little stenciling behind each daisy head

Other ingredients include,

White gesso

 Prima Chalkboard paint and PanPastels with a little charcoal penciling for my colouring.

The background paper is Artist quality and has a rough finish, so add texture too - lol it's a big old piece, measuring approx 16" x 12" if I remember rightly.

My ink choice was Versafine 'Smokey Gray'  - wonderful for a dusty mixed media piece.

And the Singer sewing machine made it's usual appearance :-) the cheesecloth adds a lovely soft texture to touch and importantly to look at too x

'Big Blousy Daisies'

For this butterfly card I used the above ingredients too - this butterfly is divine to work with, so pretty and delicate but quite a large size too, so it can as you can see here take centre stage with no problems.

'Girl on a Swing'

Awe, don't cha just loves these Wee Folk 2 Stamps - PRESS HERE to go peep at them over in the Clarity shop (Wee Folk 1 stamps - PRESS HERE - are cute too x

Daler Rowney inks and a fine liner black pen were my only other ingredients - just drip droplets of ink onto your card and with a ruler drag the ink across your card - repeat if necessary - simples yet effective.
Ohhh 'n' typed words too :-)))

I added a few pink ink splats to the girlies card and with a neon Montana pen I drew around the rough-cut circle apertures and card edge, let dry them added my black fine liner framework squiggles - 'funks-up' and frames the card x

Soooo, thats my makes for the Clarity UK show - January 2015 - yes 2015 (ohhh errr Happy New Year by the way lol - better late than never!)
