'Capture the Magic of Christmas'

Hi there lovely friends
Just dropping by with my latest monthly dt piece for Roc Nicholas team :-)

I've created a little Christmassy sparkle for a friend of mine to hang in her home this festive season - yikes!!! I best get to the post office sharpish!

This cheeky chappy is Roc's 'Dog' stamp - I couldn't not finish my year without using this dude in a piece of art - he's totally adorable, especially with his cute candy-cane ears, toes and tail heeheehee! (and as usual I used my colouring pencils to colourise him - Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and Caran d'Ache Pablo and Luminance pencils)

I also used Roc's 'Capture the Magic' stamp to create the beautiful Christmastime sentiment and carried on the words with a black fine liner ink pen.
In the background using some of the acrylic paints on my palette the 'Steampunk Border' stamp and 'Roc's Tree' were perfect to add more layers of interest (I immediately cleaned my stamps so as not to ruin them with the paints)
