Hello again lovely friends....
......2 posts in 2 days lol......
Firstly a huge welcome and hello to all of my lovely followers new and old - thank you too to all the new peeps who pop in and peep at my posts - big warm hugs to you all.
A tad more blustery over our way today but still mild, my Spring bulbs are starting to shoot! The roads are a little busier with the Christmas shoppers, parking will be mad when I pop to do my supermarket shop, decisions, decisions - to go today or brave tomorrow lol.
So onto today's show 'n' tell.....
A hanging 'Shabby Sparkly Snowflake'
I created this for Zuzu's Altered Art Swap - you can find Zuzu's (Louise's) amazing creativity and all the lovely swaps created by all the other talented 'Swappers' HERE on here Facebook page ZuZu's Petals Altered Art 'n' Stuff.
The brief was straight forward - Alter something creating an ornament for the festive season.
I altered book pages and VOILA.....
Piccy fest time.....take a seat and grab a cuppa lol!
AND BREATHE......hehehe
Creating this weather beaten looking hanging ornament did take rather a long time cos I lovingly altered all the mini squares of book pages one by one. I inked, painted, glazed, stamped, sprtzed, blinged and got out the old Singer and (YeY!) tried my hand at sewing lol.....not to mention using the must have Tim Holtz Distressing tool on anything sat on my worktop lol!!!
Now it's been lovingly received ready for Christmas - got there in one piece thank goodness I thought I would share my piccys and also enter it into......
The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog November Challenge - Christmas.
Offski for now - still got to finish up the blooms for part 2 of the Winter White Wreath tutorial.....
Hope you all have a fun weekend - December is a coming.........interestingly or not! I read on fb recently that this December has 5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays and 5 Mondays - this only happens every 823 years!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.....
