Snowflake Kisses Mini Mini Book x

Happy Christmas Eve lovely friends.....
......I'm sooo excited - 1 more sleep......

So...before I start I would love to welcome all my new followers, thank you for well...following xoxo

Now as its Christmas Eve this is a short post on the word front but as usual piccy heavy - hope you enjoy - and feel free to ask any questions x

The beginnings - well the mechanics/backgrounds/stamping of this mini book and it is mini (6x6cm square) were created over at Art From The Heart's taster day - It was the last class of the day and the amazing Kate Crane's creation and boy did I enjoy it (actually I did 3 more classes, the first of the day with the Very Talented Dyan Reaveley, the fabulous Sandy Poppins,s and her wonderful husband Father Andrew each taught a brilliant techniques class during the middle of the day - but pooh hooo ho lol I couldn't get on the lovely Michelle Webb' class (3 classes only you see but I sneaked 4 so I can't complain) and I thoroughly enjoyed them too) I cannot recommend this crafting day out  highly enough - and now as a result I'm booked onto.... well lets say a few other workshops as a result of the fun I had on this day! - (we did learn lots of techniques and got our fingers on some wonderful stash to create a little/well a lot of Art From The Heart Magic!!!

Here is Kate's Amazing Book

 Just WoWzers!!!

Onto my book now...
...I didn't finish my mini book off on purpose cos I wanted too give it the once over with the Shabby chic wand - out came the trusty old singer for a stitch or two here 'n' there.  The Tim Holtz must have paper distresser worked its magic and as you can see a fair bit of Tim Holtz Idea-ology stash was an absolute must!

It's Piccy time...

The word 'twinkle' is taken from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Chitchat stickers - seasonal.
The yummy rusty button heart is from the Craft Box

Now for the inside pages - all stamped with Tim Holtz stamps - I do declare i'm totally in love with the blueprint snowflake - little and large x

The dusty black page divider was created using the amazing Faber Castell double scoop Gelatos - Coconut  and the Faber Castell Stipple tool
Also once I had applied the Gelato - smooching then stippling all with the stipple tool - I misted with water lightly and  sprinkled with Derwent white charcoal using the sprinkler tool

The back page has Tim Holtz movers and shapers mini snowflakes sewn in between the layers of cheese cloth and raw silk - crystals add a touch of sparkle (the snowflakes were cut from glassine paper bags)

Challenges I'm entering

I'm offski now....
....more wrapping to do!  Tis never ending!

Hope you've enjoyed my last post before Christmas, I'll be back in with the other tutorials (not forgotten - promise and other makes I created this Christmastime that I've not shown you close-ups of on here x)

I really love and appreciate all you comments and questions, thank you for popping by today...

Have a most wonderful and magical festive season lovely friends x
