Guest Dt plus Fav post pieces......of the moment.....

Hi there lovelies...

Well we've had amazing sunshine and warmth this past week over here (still wearing my vest though - too much information, no, yes,,,,,lol)

I'm back in today with my 3rd piece of art for the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog - It's Magda Polakow's fabulous 'Circles' challenge this week - and I had a ball...

I created a fun multi-layered page in my large Dylusions Journal, it's a kaleidoscope of colours that just shout out fun, fun fun.......why not! Fun is the best!!!

Take a closer looksey........
So this is one of the eight Stampotique stamps I used.....
Skiddy by Daniel Torrente
I am soooo in love with this stamp, its full of tiny detail - tis wicked!!!

Now for the busy background I used the following Stampotique stamps.....
(circles created on dry wax deli paper and waxed deli paper)

Roc Nicholas's fabulous 'Art Junkie' words, a must for me and my journal pages cos I am what it says literally lol......

Now for the numerous layered circles (which are sooooo on trend along with squares at the moment and are everywhere to be seen so, thought it would be rude not to partake again since the challenge is.....'circles'......)
Stamps used are...
Roc Nicholas's Steampunk Border
Daniel Torrente's Circles Cube
Daniel Torrente's Row Faces
Daniel Torrente's 3 in a Round

Plus for added texture I used this must go to stamp.....
France Papillion's Design Cube 2

....and I looooves hearts so I found a space lol
Jo Capper-Sandon's Bow Heart

I know it's busy, well on steroids lol but there's a soft flow to it, right from the soft edges of the Dylusions journal, to the huge semi-circle that sits on the page, layered with oodles of various sized circles which nest the main focal image, who herself a busy character (this page needed a strong and busy character to balance it) Therefore I needed a steady place to sit her, hence a totally different shape to draw your eyes and a beautiful and simple coloured backdrop, the hearts, words, doodles just make your eyes dart around her and you are ever-so gently pulled toward the bottom right of the page (tiny neon dots) where your eyes are invited to exit the page when they have finished their feast.......
And colours, I'm in looooove Dina Wakley Media Paints - can't get enough of them and here I added a little extra on top of them, Faber Castell Gelatos Brights for even more 'pop' if that's possible x

Right i'm off for a cuppa (no surprise there then lol)  Hope you can join in the fun fun fun.....
So I'll leave you with a couple of links related to today's post to make it easy for you to hop about.....
